A Sundance balloons hot air balloon ride is a magic adventure. A balloon flight gift certificate is a great gift idea for any occasion. Birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, wedding gifts, valentines day gifts or Christmas gifts.

Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot
and Flight Crew. The morning flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour
before sunrise and the evening flights approximately 2 1/2 hours
before sunset.
At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming
balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon
takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories
tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you climb into
the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime.
During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of
the Edmonton area and will drift silently over the countryside where
you will watch for wildlife and talk with envious onlookers down
below. After drifting serenely for approximately an hour we prepare
for landing.
Once on the ground, we share in the oldest of ballooning traditions,
a champagne toast and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty
that you never before knew existed.
Our main flying season is from May 1st to October 31st. We fly twice
a day seven days a week from May to October, weather permitting.
For ballooning we require light winds, good visibility and no precipitation.
We fly at approximately 1000 feet above built up areas, but will
come down to touch the tree tops or skim across the corn fields
if we are out in the countryside. The flights are approximately
1 hour in length, however we do require you for up to 4 hours in
total for the entire adventure.
Since we fly with the prevailing winds, our flight patterns and
landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is
no wind chill and very little feeling of movement or sensation of
height.
Due to insurance restrictions we cannot accept passengers under
the age of 10, women who are / or may be pregnant, or those with
heart, back or knee problems. If you have any questions about these
restrictions please discuss them with one of our Customer Service
Representatives.
Private chartered flights are also available. Please ask for details
on how we can make your special day even more memorable.
For your convenience, we will schedule and/or prepare your gift
certificates over the telephone and mail them to you. For urgent
delivery, next day courier is available. Please specify at the time
of purchase.
Flights may be purchased or scheduled at anytime during business
hours. You may also order
Flight Vouchers online, 24 hours a day, and have them
sent to you via email, courier or mail. We are authorized
to accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express by phone, or you
can mail us a cheque.
Should your flight be cancelled by Sundance Balloons due to inclement
weather conditions, you simply will need to call our office and reschedule
your flight.
